Plum upside down cake

Pour yourself a cup of tea, slice a piece of cake and just enjoy the beginning of fall.

Ingredients:
 500 g Plums
 Zest of 1 lemon
 2 tsp Cinnamon
 ½ tsp Cloves (powder)
 100 g Sugar
 80 g Butter
 3 Eggs
 80 ml Milk
 160 g Flour
 1 tsp Baking powder
 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Start with buttering a large round oven dish and spread 1tsp of cinnamon, 20g of sugar and the lemon zest on the bottom.

Cut the plums in half and take the pit out, arrange them halved plums with the open side on top of the sugar, cinnamon and lemon zest.

Whisk together the eggs, 80g of sugar, flour, 1tsp of cinnamon, ½ tsp of cloves, 80g of butter, the vanilla extract, the baking powder and the milk until you get a smooth batter without any lumps.

Pour the batter on top of the plums and bake for about 35 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius.
